Super high torque TDI starter conversions available for Air Cooled VW Beetle, Dune Buggy, Sand Rail, Baja Bugs and Off Road cars with Type 1, 002, 091, and 094 VW transmission. High torque TDI starters are great for high compression VW engines, or engine swaps including Subaru, Ecotec, and more using VW transaxles.

Our fully in-house designed adapters are CNC milled and have been tested to ensure proper fit on VW Type 1, 002, 091, and 094 (4-speed only) transaxles. Compatible with Bosch reference SR0408X, J&N 410-24018, and Euromax 02A911023R starters means you can easily find a replacement starter for many years.
