Our TDI Starter adapter is a CNC machined billet aluminum adapter that includes all necessary mounting hardware and instructions. This adapter fits a 96-06 Jetta Manual trans TDI starter onto a VW 6-rib 091 or 094 style transaxle bellhousing for dune buggies with hi compression or more powerful engines.
This adapter will only fit 4-speed manual transmission bellhousings. This adapter plate fits most late Bus and Vanagons with the 4-speed 091 and 094 manual transaxles. Does not fit diesel transaxles or diesel bellhousings.
This fits a 3-1/4 inch bell housing flange to starter flange distance. Measure if you are not sure.
