Our TDI Starter adapter is a CNC machined billet aluminum adapter that includes all necessary mounting hardware and instructions. This adapter fits a 96-06 Jetta Manual trans TDI starter onto a VW Type 1 transmission, or a Bus 002 3-Rib or 5-Rib transaxle bellhousing. Great solution for dune buggies or kit cars with high horsepower engines.
May fit Beetle or Bus with modification. Works with 96-06 TDI Jetta Manual transmission starter - confirmed to work with Bosch, J&N, or Euromax brands. Some store-brand or house-brand starters do not have the correct nose to work with our adapters.
This fits 2-3/4 inch bell housing flange to starter flange distance. Measure if you are not sure.
