Disc Brake Conversion Kits available for Air Cooled VW Beetle, Dune Buggy, Sand Rail, and Baja Bug. Front disc brake kits, rear disc brake kits, drop spindle brake kits available from Empi, Wilwood, and Jamar. Lug patterns include 5x205, 4x130, Chevy 5x4.75, and Porsche 5x130.
Tips for disc brake shopping - know what suspension you have!
Front suspension:
Link Pin has horizontal upper shock bolt.
Ball Joint has vertical upper shock stud.
Super Beetle has a visible coil spring on the shock.
Rear suspension/transaxle:
Swing Axle has 1 axle boot per axle, right at transmission.
IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) has 2 axle boots per axle, 1 at transmission and 1 at trailing arm.
