Racers and their vehicles have to survive two races on the same course to complete the event.  The first race will be one direction starting off Saturday Morning.  The second race runs the course backwards and will start at 5 PM and stretch  into the night.

Each 150 mile stretch will test drivers in different conditions as temperatures and weather change from day to night.

DuneBuggyWarehouse.com is excited to sponsor the air-cooled VW and dune buggy racers in this competition.  Top three air-cooled finishers will receive contingency prizes.

Billy Dobbs, winner of the West Texas 250, will be back out to see if he can take home another trophy.

Ohio's own Phillip Drew will be representing Midwest air-cooled VW racers with his VW single port powered single seater buggy.

Best of luck to all the racers and Texas Desert Racing voluteers heping run the event!
