Empi 3439 single quiet pack exhaust system uses 1-1/2 inch header tubing and large 3 bolt mounting flange at the collector. This exhaust fits 1700-2000cc or 1.7-2.0L Type 4 engines ued in 1972-74 VW Bus and VW 411. Improves exhaust flow over the stock muffler while keeping a moderate exhaust volume.
**Note from the Manufacturer: Empi exhausts have a black shipping coating to prevent corrosion during shipping and storage. The black coating will burn off once run and is not warranted by Empi. We recommend using a high-temp header paint on any Empi black exhaust.
