Empi 9628 front strut coil over springs for stock or lowered front end on 1971-80 Super Beetle only. These coil springs fit either stock or lowered cars, and can be used as OE replacement for Super Beetle sedans, or used with the Empi 9626/9627 lowering strut mounts. Alternate part numbers 9628, 0096280, 00-9628-0.

**Tech Tip: These springs are equivalent to stock Super Beetle sedan style springs. The convertibles originally used a slightly stiffer spec spring, so using these on your convertible may result in a slightly (1/2-1 inch) lowered ride height than fresh OE springs.
