Stock Super Beetle style gas tank for 1971-74 Super Beetle. This is the finest quality replacement tank we have seen on the market with smooth seam crimps, nicely sealed welds, and crisp edges. Fuel tank holds approximately 10.5 gallons and fits in the stock front trunk area on 1971-74 VW Super Beetle 1302 and 1303 chassis models.
Compatible with factory/OE style fuel sender, outlet pipe, filter, fuel filler neck, vent hoses, and mounting hardware (available separately). This tank has 1 single outlet fuel tube, 1 drain plug on bottom, 3 small vent tubes on top, 1 large vent tube, and 1 filler neck port.
This tank can be used in later 1975-79 Super Beetles when converting to carburetors.
Tech Tip: Always clean any new fuel system component before installation, including fuel tanks.
