New stock style forged connecting rod for 1300-1600cc VW Type 1 Beetle 1966-78, Super Beetle 1971-1979, Karmann Ghia 1966-1974, Type II 1963-71. Alternate part numbers include 311105401B, 311-105-401B, 980153B, 98-0153-B.
These rods measure 5.394 inch center to center and weigh around 605-620 gram depending on batch. 4 packs are match weighted from the factory to approximately +/- 3 gram.
Sold as a 4-Pack. 4 required per vehicle.
Tech Tip: Torque spec is 30 ft lbs. Oil the bolt threads, then torque both rod nuts in an alternating 15 - 20 - 25 - 30 ft-lb sequence.
