Empi 79-4117-0 Steering Wheel Adapter Kit 40 Spline for 1974-79 VW and 1975-88 other VW models.

This steering wheel adapters allows installation of a 3-bolt steering wheel onto a 1974-77 Beetle, 1974-79 Super Beetle, Late 1974 Thing, and 1974-79 Bus. Also fits many other 1975-88 VW Models (except 75-77 Dasher).

Tech Tip: 1974 is a split year on steering shafts for all models - you will need to measure your steering shaft to verify.

This adapter fits a 0.652in ID and 0.680in OD 40-spline shaft used in late 1974-79 Beetle. Spline diameter is 18mm and mounting nut is 24mm.

Allows installation of many aftermarket 3-bolt steering wheels. Includes chome horn button and several sticker logo options.
