Single Port 92mm Driverpak Top End Rebuild Kit for 1835cc VW Beetle Ghia

DBW single port Driverpak 92mm 1835cc top end rebuild kit for 1966-70 VW Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type 3, or Bus with Type 1 engines built to 1835cc and still using single port heads. Only fits engine cases already cut for 90.5mm or 92mm size pistons & cylinders.

Includes 92mm pistons & cylinders, stock style single port cylinder heads (cut to accept 92mm pistons & cylinders) with 35mm intake valves, 32mm exhaust valves, and 53cc combustion chambers, Elring gasket kit, and stock style replacement pushrod tubes. This kit will fit any 1300-1600cc VW Type 1 single port engine and the 87mm cylinders fit right in your stock engine case bores.

These 3111013563AK single port heads use a 12mm-3/4 inch reach spark plug. We like the NGK 4339.

We recommend inspecting the bottom end while the pistons and cylinders are removed for any excess bearing play. This kit rebuilds the top end of your engine with all new pistons & cylinders, wrist pins, rings, cylinder heads, gaskets, and pushrod tubes.

Tech Tip: Cylinder head chamber cc is estimated by the manufacturer and is not exact. When replacing heads, cylinders, camshafts, or other critical engine components a thorough pre-assembly blueprint should to be done to calculate head CC, chamber volume, deck height, compression ratio, valve clearance, and cam timing. If you are not sure - take it to a professional!
