Shift coupler inserts rubber OE style for late 1965-79 Beetle, 1967-79 Bus, 1963-on Karmann Ghia and Type 3, and VW Thing. These rubber inserts fit in the sides of the late square cage style shift coupler that connects the shifter rod to the transmission shifter input shaft. When these are worn out or cracked your shifter will have sloppy play in all directions. Replaces original OE numbers 311711233, 311-711-233, 311711239, 311711243, 311798211.
Sold as a pair.
Made in Brazil. These do say GERMANY but the original tooling molds were bought and moved to Brazil.
