Empi Shift Shaft Coupler for Beetle Shifter Shaft to Bus Transmission 17-2725-0

Empi shift shaft coupler or conversion shift linkage coupler fits on a late style 1966-79 Beetle style Type 1 shifter shaft and connects to a Bus style transaxle or transmission. Compatible with 3-Rib, 5-Rib, 6-Rib, 002, 091, and 094 transaxles where the shifter input is about 3 inches higher than the Beetle transaxle.
Provides 3-inch drop.
Tech Tip: This adapter is used when swapping a Bus transaxle into a Beetle or Beetle-based dune buggy, kit car, or sand rail. This provides the correct 3-inch vertical offset when using the Bus transmission.
