IMI starters are an excellent option for performance VW engines in street, race and off road applications.
This IMI-104 is compatible with all VW 091 6-rib transaxles. The unit is polished for a show shine.
Get the right starter: Make sure you match your starter to your transmission. If you have a VW Type 1 IRS, Swing Axle, bus 3-rib or bus 5-rib you need an IMI-101. If you have a 6-rib 091 bus transmission you need an IMI-104.
