Kuhltek 90 Amp BP12V Black Alternator for VW Beetle - AC903953

Kuhltek BP12V 90 amp 12 volt black powdercoated alternator for aircooled VW Type 1 applications. These 2-wire AL82 style alternators are internally regulated, and are used to convert 1960-79 Beetle, Ghia, Thing, and 1960-71 Bus to alternators.
Black powdercoated alternators require an additional ground wire installation due to the coating.
90 Amps, 12 volts.
Requires using an alternator stand, or trimming your generator stand to clear the larger alternator end.
**Tech Tip: These alternators read voltage through the D+ terminal. You must use an incandescent style dash/charging light on the D+ terminal circuit or these alternators will not charge. Read Alternator Instructions on our Tech Center instructions page for more info.
