Ignition switch electrical side harness for 08/1970-07/1971 Beetle, Super Beetle, and Karmann Ghia, and 08/1970-11/1973 Bus or Transporter. This 6-wire harness is the electrical switch portion of the ignition switch assembly. Alternate part numbers 111905865F, 111-905-865F.
Wiring diagram:
Red - 12v+ Power from fusebox
Red/Black - 12v+ Starter wire to solenoid 50
Black - 12v+ Keyed on power
Black/Yellow - 12v+ Power to headlight switch X-terminal
Brown - Ground to door buzzer or door switch, not often used
Grey - 12v+ power to park lights, not often used
