This headlight retaining unit is made to replace headlight retainers in 1967 - 1979 VW beetle, 1964 - 1974 VW Karmann Ghia, 1968 - 1979 VW bus and 1964 -1973 VW Type 3. This unit is for late style sealed beam headlights. It includes the light mount and chrome retainer. Replaces factory part number 141 941 041
