Empi 1-3/8 Inch Header Only for VW Type 3 Small 3-Bolt Flange 00-3661-7

Empi 00-3661-7 is a 1-3/8 inch tubing diameter header only for VW Type 3 Notchback, Fastback, or Squareback. This is the header only portion of the Empi 00-3661-0 exhaust. This is compatible with your factory heater boxes, or compatible with aftermarket Type 3 J-tubes like Empi 00-3657-0 if you do not want to run heater boxes.

Compatible with small 3-bolt flange and the upper bolt is at the 11-oclock position.

This header only is meant to be used with a quiet pack style exhaust, such as Empi 00-3668-0.

Note Empi Black exhausts have a black shipping coating to prevent corrosion during shipping and storage. The black coating will burn off once run and is not warranted against rust or scratches by Empi. We recommend using a high-temp header paint on any Empi black exhaust. If you need a pre-finished exhaust, look at Stainless Steel or Ceramic Coated exhaust options.
