This brand new 12 volt starter fits 1967-79 Beetle, 1967-74 Karmann Ghia, 1967-71 Bus with upright Type 1 engine, and 1970-76 Porsche 914. These starters include a new replacement 12v bushing for your bellhousing. Make sure your starter bushing is in good condition or replace it with the included bushing. Alternate part numbers SR15N, 98-9114-B, 311911023, 311911023D, SR15X.
These fit VW Type 1 transaxles, and VW 002 style 3-Rib or 5-Rib transaxles with the 2-3/4 inch bellhousing.
This starter will fit a 2-3/4 inch bell housing flange to starter flange distance. Measure if you are not sure.
