Elring Pushrod Tube Seal for Beetle Ghia Thing EACH 170.518 113109345

Elring 170.518 pushrod tube seal or push rod tube seal for 40-60HP 1200cc-1600cc Type 1 aircooled engines. This rubber seal measures 20x29x6mm and seals between the pushrod tube and engine case, or between the pushrod tube and cylinder head.

Fitment: Compatible with 40HP and newer 1961-79 Beetle and Super Beetle, 1961-71 Bus or Transporter, 1961-74 Karmann Ghia, and 1973-74 Thing. Not compatible with 25HP or 36HP engines.

Tech Tip: Install this seal onto the pushrod tube first, then align your pushrod tubes all together before installing the cylinder head. Most engine builders install these dry, but some old school builders will use gasket sealer. These seals do not fit 25HP/36HP engines. If your generator stand is removable from the engine case then these are the correct pushrod tube seal.
