Early stock style gas tank for 1960-67 Beetle and Karmann Ghia. This is the finest quality replacement tank we have seen on the market with smooth seam crimps, nicely sealed welds, and crisp edges. Fuel tank holds approximately 9.5 gallons and fits in the stock front trunk area on Beetle, Karmann Ghia, and many fiberglass style dune buggies or kit cars.
Uses a 60mm small style filler neck. Compatible gas caps include 211201551, 111115485, 95-2005-B, and 95-2005-0 (available separately).
If using this tank in a custom Manx style body, the filler neck may need to be moved or removed. Some 1960's models did not use a fuel sender unit - you can either use a block off plate or a fuel sender without hooking it up.
Tech Tip: Always clean any new fuel system component before installation, including fuel tanks.
Made in China. Measures 29 x 17 x 12 inches.
