Nose cone bushing and seal for 16.6mm ID 1969-77 Beetle or Bus transaxle nosecone. This bushing and seal kit seals the nosecone and bushing against the hockey stick transmission shift lever. This 16.6mm kit fits the 1969-later Beetle and Bus transaxles. Nosecones are often swapped on transmissions so measure your bushing hole size if you are not sure.

Tech Tip: Transaxle nosecones were made with a 17mm bushing hole from 1949-68, then were made with a 16.6mm bushing hole from 1969-on. Nosecones are often and easily swapped over the years, so recommended you measure or purchase both seal holders if you are not sure which nosecone you have.
