DBW 8284 Chrome 60 amp alternator kit. Fits VW Type 1 Beetle, Karmann Ghia, 1961-1971 Type 2 Bus with the Type 1 upright engine, and Air Cooled VW based dune buggy, sand rail, baja bug, and woods buggy. Includes chrome 60 amp internally regulated alternator, chrome stand, chrome backing plates, and chrome alternator strap.
**Tech Tip: Simple 2-wire installation - the main post wires straight to the POS+ starter and battery. The smaller terminal wires to the charging/alternator light on the dash, then to a keyed-on POS+ source. You must run a non-LED charging/alternator light for these alternators to charge.
