Starter bushing 113301155 for 12 volt manual transaxle 1967-79 Beetle transmissions. This starter bushing sits inside the transmission bellhousing and catches the starter pinion shaft when you activate the starter.

Measures 13.5mm OD and 11mm ID. Fits in manual shift 12 Volt 1967-on Beetle style transaxles.

Tech Tip: Following poor grounds and switch contacts, a worn starter bushing is the next most common starter issue for aircooled VWs. A worn bushing may allow too much slop in the starter pinion, or not allow complete engagement of the flywheel. These bushings can be removed by pressing the pushing out while the engine is removed, or you can thread a 12mm bolt inside the bushing and pull it out of the starter hole.
