Tips for disc brake shopping - know what suspension you have!

Front suspension:
Link Pin has horizontal upper shock bolt.
Ball Joint has vertical upper shock stud.
Super Beetle has a visible coil spring on the shock.

Rear suspension/transaxle:
Swing Axle has 1 axle boot per axle, right at transmission.
IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) has 2 axle boots per axle, 1 at transmission and 1 at trailing arm.
