Urethane shifter bushing for VW buggy shifter box. This bushing is a direct bolt on for shifter boxes in many tube chassis woods buggies, rail buggies and dune buggies. Empi 16-5101-0 urethane shifter bushing for 7/8 inch diameter shifter tubes. This bushing installs on the back of the buggy shift box for aftermarket dune buggy and sand rail frames.
Fitment: Compatible with aftermarket VW-based dune buggy, sand rail, or kit car frames that use a shifter box instead of a VW-style tunnel or hangar. These mount onto the back of the shifter mounting box on your custom frame.
Tech Tip: These have a 7/8 inch ID and replace the factory VW style shift bushing normally installed on a hangar under the shifter. Used for custom chassis, vehicles with shifter boxes, buggy shifter boxes, or other custom vehicle applications.
