37 Pict-3 big bore carburetor for 1600-1776cc Beetle Ghia Thing and Bus with Type 1 engine. This big bore carburetor offers a stock style driving experience and similar fuel economy on mild performance built 1600cc and larger engines. Includes tapered adapter spacer to mount on stock 34 PICT intake manifold.
Fits standard 34-PICT intakes used on 1971-74 Beetle Ghia Thing. Mounting stud bolt spread is 68mm. Air cleaner throat is standard 2-1/16 inch diameter and all air cleaners that fit 34 pict will fit these.
We recommend this carburetor for 1600cc engines with mild performance mods like exhaust, ratio rockers or higher compression. This also works well on stock or mild builds up to 1776cc. Not recommended for engines with larger cams -we only recommend using this for cams between stock and W100 size. If you have a cam larger than W100 we recommend dual carbs.
Carburetor includes 52 idle jet and 132 main jet installed.
