Empi 22-2887-0 forged drop spindle front disc brake conversion kit with Chevy and Porsche lug patterns. This kit is designed to fit 1966-77 Type 1 Beetle and 1967-74 Karmann Ghia front beam suspensions.
These forged drop spindles lower your front end 2.5 inches while maintaining close to stock steering geometry. Spindles are offset about 1/4 inch and widens your total track about 5/8 inch. These spindles require use of 1969-later style tie rod ends. Must use 15 inch diameter wheels to clear calipers. Lut nuts or studs are not included.
Kit includes:
Brake Rotors drilled with both 5x130mm Porsche pattern threaded for 14mm lugs, and 5x4.75 inch Chevy pattern threaded for 12mm lugs.
Ghia style brake calipers and pads.
2.5 inch forged drop spindles.
Wheel bearings and grease seals.
Mounting hardware and instructions.
Dust caps.
