DBW 8285 Chrome 75 amp alternator kit. Fits 1961-79 Beetle, 1961-74 Karmann Ghia, 1961-71 Type 2 Bus or Transporter. Compatible with Type 1 engines with a removable generator stand.
Kit includes 75 amp internally regulated chrome alternator, 11.3x912mm belt, pulley, clamp, and backing plate kit.
**Tech Tip: Simple 2-wire installation - the main post wires straight to the POS+ starter and battery. The smaller terminal wires to the charging/alternator light on the dash, then to a keyed-on POS+ source. You must run a non-LED charging/alternator light for these alternators to charge.
